high rise

look at the egg-baskets around
you will find them of several designs
and varied shape
the most common being the ones
which look like a cage

no matter how tall your claim is
no matter how cool your lawn breathes

birds no longer fly high

like the eggs
we love to keep the birds
safe

এসো ভাঙো। কথায় বলে না ভাঙলে কিছু গড়া যায় না। আপনি নিজেকে কতটা ভাঙতে পারবেন তার উপর ডিপেন্ড করবে আপনার গড়ে তোলা ইমারতের স্থায়িত্ব। আর স্থায়ী ইমারত কেউই বা চায় না! সে আপনার পাড়ার সান্টুদাই হোক বা শাহরুখ খানই হোক। আরে বাবা এরা কেউই তো আর এলিয়েন নয়, মানুষ।

২০১৫ তে “দিলওয়ালে” রিলিজ করবার পর শুধু বক্সঅফিসই নয় ফ্যান অফিসেও যে বিশাল ধস নেমেছে তা কিন্তু শাহরুখ খান নিজেও ভালোভাবে বুঝতে পেরেছিলেন। না হলে সারা ভারতের ডিস্ট্রিবিউটদের লোকসান কমাবার জন্য নিজের কোম্পানির থেকে অর্ধেক টাকা মেটানোর দায়িত্ব নিতেন না। আর সুপারস্টারেরা জানেন কীভাবে তাদের ফ্যান আর ইমেজ ধরে রাখতে হয়! ঠিক আপনি যেমন জানেন বাড়ির প্রিয় লোকটা থেকে শুরু করে পাড়ায় আপনার ইমেজ কিংবা অফিসে বসের মন কিভাবে যুগিয়ে চলতে হয়! আপনিও জানেন, আজ আপনি যা সেটা আপনার এই আশেপাশের মানুষগুলোর জন্যই। আর তার জন্যই তো আপনার প্রিয় মানুষগুলো আপনার ‘ফ্যান’। আর ফ্যানদের কুক্ষিগত করতে যে কোনো পর্যায়েই যেতে পারেন…
